PROBLEM – Hurricane Katrina was one of the worst natural disasters in our country’s history, devastating New Orleans. Our client, a Fortune 200 company needed the assurance and piece of mind that only comes from on-site damage assessment and control.

SOLUTION – Within one week of landfall, S.A.G. was on the ground working to facilitate a medical evacuation for our client. With the situation spiraling out of control, S.A.G. was asked to expand its orders, spending two weeks obtaining damage assessment information on buildings and assets for the client and then, after a month that saw conditions worsen dramatically, spearheading long-term recovery efforts by establishing a shelter in place (SIP) to serve as temporary housing for nearly 250 relief workers. S.A.G. was fully responsible for the day-to-day operation and coordination of all security teams at five different locations within the ravaged city providing the response needed to put the client on the road to recovery and a more secure future.
